Watch Now: 2015 Escape to Miami Triathlon
More than 2,000 participants in the 2015 Escape to Miami Triathlon made their way to Margaret Pace Park in Miami to swim, bike and run to the finish line of this multidisciplinary race.
Contestants competed in the Olympic distance (1.5 KM/0.9 mile swim, 40 KM/24.8 mile bike and 10 KM/6.2 mile run), or the Mack Cycle Sprint distance race consisting of a 0.4 KM/0.25 mile swim, 21 KM/13 mile bike and 5 KM/3.1 mile run.
Thomas San Giovanni, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon with the Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute, is the race’s medical director.
