Watch Now: Miami Heat Stars Talk Health and the Upcoming Season
Miami HEAT stars Chris “Birdman” Andersen, Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole sat down for a candid conversation with Doctors Hospital CEO Nelson Lazo and HEAT team physician Harlan Selesnick, M.D., from Doctors Hospital Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. The trio shared insights as to how they stay healthy before, during and after the grueling NBA season, which can span over one hundred games.
Joining them onstage was NBA Hall of Famer and current Vice President of Player Programs for the HEAT, Alonzo Mourning. “Zo” reinforced the importance of watching what goes into your body as a way to maintain optimal health.
During the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce Trustee Luncheon, the players also spoke for the first time about the upcoming season, which starts in just a few days with training camp.
