Watch Now: Miracle Baby Celebrates First Birthday
Stephanie Salgueiro-Lopez was born when her mom, Elianne, was just 22 weeks pregnant.
Despite being on the “edge of viability,” Stephanie spent the first four months of her life in the George Batchelor and Gloria Vasta Lewis Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Children’s Hospital, developing and stealing the hearts of her doctors and nurses.
Today, she returned to the NICU to celebrate her first birthday with those who made it possible to reach this milestone.
