Baptist Health South Florida Employees & Run Club Greet ‘Pete’ (VIDEO)
As you may have heard by now, ‘Pete,’ the 220-ton cyclotron which will power the proton therapy center at Miami Cancer Institute, made the 42-mile journey from Port Everglades to its home on the campus of Baptist Hospital. What you may not know is that hundreds of Baptist Health South Florida Run Club members and enthusiastic employees made their way to Fort Lauderdale to greet and send off Pete with a healthy run before the overnight drive to Miami.
(VIDEO: Baptist Health South Florida multimedia specialist Alcyene de Almeida Rodrigues participated in the evening’s events and put together this video recap.)
