• Rates are $25 per person, or $18 per person for groups of 20 guests or more..
• Booked groups receive priority reserved seating and a 45-minute narrated Tram Tour.
• Arrangements for Guided Walking Tours can be made December through May.
• Need a special Children’s Tour? Just ask!
• Your group escort and bus driver (if applicable) receive free admission.

Summer Camps Field Trips

Bring your campers to Fairchild for a fun and educational summer camp field trip! In addition to a special children’s Tram Tour of the Garden, campers can see butterflies up close in our Wings of the Tropics exhibit, walk through our incredible Edible Garden, and watch scientists at work on the Million Orchid Project in our labs.

• The field trip group rate is $7 per camper, with one adult chaperone free for every five campers. Admission for additional adults is $12 per person.
• Admission includes a 45-minute private children’s Tram Tour of the Garden. Afterward, your group is free to enjoy the Garden on their own. We can gladly recommend the best areas to visit with children.
• Bag lunches are welcome.

 

Group Visits During Festivals

We offer Group Tours during our exciting special events and festivals. Please note that Tram Tours may be suspended during events or festivals to ensure the safety of our guests. Our Plants and People Horticultural Therapy Program is a unique experience for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and for children with Autism. Specially curated programs provide a therapeutic and rejuvenating experience for caregivers and family members as well.

Private Tours

Enhance your experience  in the Garden by taking an exclusive Private Tour! Whether you’re new to Fairchild or a longtime Member, these informative docent-led tours are offered throughout the day and are available for individuals or small groups of up to seven guests in the comfort of our shuttle carts; larger groups are accommodated in our trams. Guests enjoy the Garden’s sprawling 83 acres for approximately 1 ½ hours with our expertly trained and friendly volunteer docents. Afterward, explore the Garden at your leisure. Lunch or afternoon tea is available for an additional fee. 

To provide your party with the best experience, we recommend booking your private tour at least three days prior to your visit. Depending on availability, we may accommodate day-of bookings.  

Private Tour Pricing (includes Garden admission, Garden exhibits, Wings of the Tropics exhibit, special exhibits, and a Private Tour lasting approximately 1 ½ hours).

Groups of up to five guests: $250
Groups of up to seven guests:  $300
Groups of more than seven guests:  $500 (limit 20 guests)
Member Pricing (groups of up to seven guests): $125
