Vy Dinh, M.D. Joins Miami Cancer Institute
MIAMI, FL – July 26, 2016 – Cancer specialist Vy Dinh, M.D., has joined Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Dinh is a hospitalist oncologist who cares for cancer patients who are hospitalized.
Dr. Dinh received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Fla. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and also a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Miami-Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital and Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center, all in Miami, Fla. Most recently, she served as a staff physician for hematology, oncology and medicine at the Miami VA Medical Center, as well as an assistant professor of clinical medicine, oncology, and oncology attending physician at the University of Miami-Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Dinh is Board-certified in oncology and internal medicine and has been a research investigator for both clinical and translational research projects, with a focus on thoracic and gastrointestinal malignancies. Her professional affiliations include the American and Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the American Association for Cancer Research.
