Tennis Stars Visit Baptist Hospital as Part of Miami Open Unites

Long-time tournament sponsor renews through 2021

During their time at the hospital, the three tennis stars visited with patients and staff, handed out toys, posed for pictures and signed autographs.

“This is such an uplifting experience,” said Mike Bryan, winner of 117 career doubles titles with his brother Bob. “Meeting some of these kids that have cancer and to see how brave they are inspires us.”

He added, “The atmosphere here is so positive. It’s good to see these kids are in a good environment to heal up.”

Baptist Health is the Official Health Care provider of the Miami Open. A long-time partner of the event, Baptist Health has renewed its sponsorship of the tournament through 2021.
