Psychiatrist Rachel Rohaidy, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Medical Group

MIAMI, FL – March 19, 2018 — Psychiatrist Rachel Rohaidy, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Medical Group, a network of primary care doctors and specialists who provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, as part of Baptist Health South Florida Care & Counseling. She specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental, addictive and emotional disorders and provides confidential and compassionate care to people seeking help during crises. Dr. Rohaidy’s areas of specialty include general adult psychiatry, acute/emergency psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, inpatient and outpatient detoxification and substance dependence in pregnant women. She is affiliated with South Miami Hospital and her primary office is located at 6900 SW 80th Street in Miami.

Dr. Rohaidy comes to Baptist Health from Banyan Health Systems. She is Board certified in psychiatry and neurology. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed three years of residency training in psychiatry at Vidant Medical Center, Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C., Larkin Community Hospital in Miami and the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. She also completed an addiction fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Rohaidy is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.
