Decisión 2020 is Telemundo’s national year-long initiative to help inform and engage our viewers and community about the important upcoming elections. As part of this effort, we will be interviewing candidates, hosting community events, organizing voter registration drives, and providing informational tools and resources to help prepare our viewers for the election process and requirements. We are doing all this to help you have all the facts you need to vote. We firmly believe that #ElPoderEnTi is key to making a difference in this world, and now is the moment to prove it. The upcoming elections will represent a profound cultural shift in our nation’s history, since it will mark the first time Hispanics will be the largest racial or ethnic minority group eligible to vote. A projected 32 million Hispanics will be eligible to vote in 2020! Our collective voice can change the outcome of elections, legislation, public works, the environment, pop culture, and the American agenda of all things relevant and good today and tomorrow.
