Baptist Health South Florida’s RN Residency Program is accredited as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
It is the organization’s highest recognition. Baptist Health is the only health system in the world to earn this achievement. Across the globe, ANCC-accredited organizations provide nurses with the knowledge and skills to help improve care and patient outcomes.
More than 1,100 nurses have completed the Baptist Health Nursing Practice Transition Program, which began in 2007. The residency offers nursing graduates the opportunity to gain clinical experience through evidence-based learning. Through supportive mentoring, coaching, and learning, R.N. residents develop clinical and leadership skills and are cultivated into nurse professionals who deliver high-quality patient care.

Baptist Health South Florida’s RN Residency Program runs twice annually for a year-long program.
