Thousands of adults and children stopped by to sample the fruit and salad bar courtesy of Baptist Health South Florida at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival Fun and Fit as a Family event at Jungle Island. Throughout the weekend event (Feb 21-22), Chef Richard Plasencia (pictured left and below center) provided healthy salad recipes and demonstrated how to make them.
